About CCAH
Creve Coeur Animal Hospital is looking for someone to help us provide our patients with the best care. Our busy five-doctor practice in West County Saint Louis treats dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles.
We are an AAHA accredited practice, so we have a very high standard for our patients and employees. Because of this, we are the best in St. Louis! Team harmony and our core values matter just as much to us as helping pets.
About You
We are looking for someone with at least two years of veterinary technician experience. Certification is valued and would result in better compensation.
We need someone who can work effectively with people (not just pets). Someone with confidence and charisma who can help clients through all situations. A self-starter who can be comfortable completing tasks without direct supervision.
You will be able to place IV catheters, draw blood, give injections, provide animal care with safe and humane handling, perform laboratory tests, take x-rays, and follow treatment plans prescribed to our hospital patients. Surgical experience is a plus.
You must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time. You will be the type of person who is on time (or early) and can help cover shifts when a team member is sick or on vacation. Hard work and breaks, lunches, and days off will be important.
The Role
We need a full-time veterinary technician to work four days a week, every other Saturday, and some holidays.
We value dedication to patient care, a healthy work-life balance, and showing up as your awesome self! We have a commitment to professional growth and a positive work environment in our clinic, and we offer fantastic benefits to help you keep up with the strangeness of the ever-changing world, including:

Every team member enriches our diversity by exposing us to various ways to understand and engage with the world. That's why we're committed to a workplace culture where employees are comfortable being their authentic selves, feel a complete sense of belonging, and are empowered to reach their highest potential.
I would highly recommend anyone to work for a Vetcor clinic because of all the available resources they offer to their employees! These resources vary from continuing education to the importance of mental health and not burning out. Stonebridge has been one of the best places I have worked and has done nothing but help me pursue my goal of becoming an LVT.
There are programs including VetLife Days and Lend-a-Hand that allow you to spend time at other clinics. I have met some wonderful colleagues this way and have also been able to expand my leadership skills within Vetcor. I actually learned that I love teaching and supporting other veterinarians, especially new graduates. I love soft tissue surgery, so to be able to pass on that knowledge and skill set to new grads, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel, has been very rewarding. It has been an amazing journey with Vetcor so far and I am excited to continue to be part of this amazing group.
The mentorship and advice from the Vetcor Chief of Staff Advisors have helped me become a better veterinarian and surgeon. They have filled me with confidence in order to become a better leader. Vetcor has been a great corporation to work for.
There is a career path for everybody and not a one size fits all approach.
Join a group of motivated veterinary professionals while taking advantage of employee programs, resources, and fantastic benefits. Join one of our many collaboration groups for Hospital Managers, Techs, and Vets! Plus, we love supporting growth in your teams' desired career paths. Gain access to mentorship at all levels, continuing education, wellness resources, and more!
Feel the pride of being part of a network of reputable and sought-after practices. You have been empowered to leave your mark on the community and it is a difference you can feel.
